Kathryn Scarborough is a fifth generation Austinite and a graduate from St. Edwards University with a BA in Corporate Communications and Marketing, and a Minor in Psychology. After returning to school for her MBA and a spin in the Technology world, in 2000 she decided to join her mother, Michele Turnquist of Turnquist Partners Realtors, for an exciting new career in Real Estate.
Kathryn is one of Austin's top Luxury Real Estate Agents and was recognized as the #1 Real Estate Agent city-wide by the Austin Business Journal for 2009. She has achieved a reputation in Austin for providing quality Real Estate service based on integrity, knowledge, and professionalism. Kathryn is a recipient of the 2008 DuPont Registry Top Luxury Real Estate Professional Award. Kathryn is also a distinguished member of the Million Dollar Guild and Austin's, “Elite 25.” Kathryn was selected as the 2014 Woman of The Year by The National Association of Professional Women and was named in the 2014 Austin Business Journal's Book of Lists as the # 2 real estate agent city wide.
Kathryn has exceeded her own expectations with over $325,000,000 in sales. Kathryn was recently inducted into the top tier of the world's realtors through Private Office, which is an exclusive hand-selected group of 31 advisors in all of North America, that represent over $1 billion in sales in the most sought after and desirable markets in the country. Kathryn realizes that being at the top in your field is not always about awards and achievements; it has more to do with knowing the business and keeping up with market trends and statistics. It is about knowing what is on the market even before it is actively marketed. It is about understanding her client's needs and expectations and being able to deliver and surpass those expectations.
Along with a busy career in real estate and raising her two young boys, Kathryn also finds time for philanthropy. She serves on several non-profit boards and has chaired on committees for the Austin Children's Shelter for the last decade. She is a board member of The Capital Campaign for Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, The Texas Realty Advisory Board, and has served on the Austin Board of Realtors Grievance Committee.
Kathryn knows Austin and specializes in sales and marketing of the finest waterfront and luxury estate homes, premiere golf course communities, central Austin, and downtown high-rise living. No job is too small and no task is unattainable.

Not only did we invest in maintaining the same look and feel of our original, successful shops in Germany, we also developed systems, tools and technology to ensure the same level of high-end quality and expertise in our service throughout the world. We’ve successfully built an international network that originated in Europe and expanded throughout Africa and Asia and which we now have extended to North America.
Engel & Völkers entered the North America market beginning in the United States, in 2006. The Hamburg-based company decided it was important to have a U.S. based team lead the effort in expanding the footprint of the brand in new North American markets and to ensure a consistent quality in the premium level service that was experienced worldwide.
Shortly after joining Engel & Völkers, Kathryn was awarded with the title of Private Office Advisor. This was an incredible honor, because there are only 31 Private Office Advisors in all of North America. These Advisors represent over $1 billion in sales in America alone.
